❓ 2) Does the Qur’an confirm earlier scriptures?
Yes. The Qur’an confirms previous revelations from Allah:“…It is He who sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it…” — Āl ʿImrān (The Family of Imran) 3:3
“…And We have revealed to you the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it…” — Al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread) 5:48

❓ 4) Is ʿĪsā (Jesus) part of the prophetic lineage?
Yes. He is a prophet of Allah, born of Maryam (Mary):“…O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary…” — Āl ʿImrān (The Family of Imran) 3:45
“This is Jesus, the son of Mary — a statement of truth…” — Maryam (Mary) 19:34
❓ 5) Why “son of Mary”?

❓ 6) Does the Qur’an honour Maryam highly?
Yes. Allah distinguished her:“…Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.” — Āl ʿImrān (The Family of Imran) 3:42
“…And (remember) she who guarded her chastity… And We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.” — Al‑Anbiyāʾ (The Prophets) 21:91

❓ 8) Are all prophets honoured equally?
Yes. The Qur’an honours all prophets as messengers of Allah, giving guidance and examples.Yet Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger (Al-Ahzab (The Confederates) 33:40), completing the line of prophecy.
❓ 9) How many times per day does the Qur’an instruct to pray?
The Qur’an outlines prayer at specific times of day. Surah Hud states:“And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.” — Hud (Hud) 11:114This refers to three daily prayers:
- Morning – at the beginning of the day
- Midday/afternoon – at the decline of the sun
- Evening/night – as darkness approaches
